Cross compiling casablanca on linux machine

Is it possible to cross-compile casablanca framework on linux machine to be run on ARM linux machine? I was trying to find some useful informaton on how to do it correctly but found nothing. On main site there is only ubuntu mentioned as linux platform. Is there any reason that it runs only on ubuntu or i can run it on embedded platform as well?

This probably isn't helpful, but it can't hurt to just try. According to this link
https://casablanca.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Setup%20and%20Build%20on%20Linux&referringTitle=Documentation

the SDK depends on g++4.8, boost 1.54, and openssl. I'm sure you can get the right g++ and openssl versions. I don't know about that specific boost version but I don't see why it shouldn't work on ARM.

Guys,

I did that a couple of months ago on an Nvidia Jetson board. It works really well. I've been meaning to write a full set of instructions up. A while back I put ground-up custom build instructions for Linux on Intel here:

For the Jetson board I had to modify the CMakeLists to grab the ARM flags from the Android part of the build settings. Other than that it was fine (it's an Ubuntu 14.04 based system). I'll post my mods back here later on tonight.

Cheers,

Damien
