I am new to this Casablanca discussion group and please help.

I am on windows platform. We have a http server which runs perfectly on http://localhost:34568. Recently we want to test it on a seperate server and it will run on https, e.g. The server is started ok, however, when I try to send request on the same computer to the server, it returns exception: WinhttpSendReqest: 12030: The connection with the server was terminated abnormally. If I send the request on different computer to the server, it returns timeout exception.

I searched the history of the discussion group and a little confused about what I need to do. Do I need to handle the certificate and how? The return message is not very clear what the exactly error it.

So basically my question is what we need to do when switch from http to https?

Thanks for your help,

hey Cathy

Ideally, you should not need any extra steps tp switch from http to https.

Some questions to help troubleshoot the issue:
Is the https server written using the Casablanca http_listener?
Are you able to connect to the https server using any other client/browser, for instance IE? This is to narrow down if it is a issue with the server or the client.
