A Win32 DLL as a listener

Hi Rosch & Steve

Just like the way I created a listener console application that GET, PUT and POST request from webpage and a chrome addin. Is it possible to implement this complete server functionality in a Win32 DLL?

Hi maverick786us,

Yes. Our http_listener is just a library only solution so you can use in an executable, like you have been doing, or inside a dll. You'd need to design and decide on the APIs you want to expose from your dll for creating and starting up the listener and handling requests.

I want this whole Casablanca SDK to be exposed, that will be used for GET, POST, PUT and Delete operation.

If that's the case, you just need your final .exe file to link against both maverick786us.dll and cpprest.dll. It will then be able to access your server functionality (in your dll) and the underlying Casablanca APIs (in cpprest.dll).
