Casablanca as Azure worker role

Dec 4, 2014 at 4:07 PM
I've just started looking at Casablanca. I'm using VS2013 update 4, Azure SDK 2.5, and have installed the latest NuGet for Casablanca. Does the app wizard shown here still exist? I would like to create REST APIs using Casablanca that are hosted in Azure (i'm guessing a worker role is what I need). I've been looking through docs, blogs, samples but I haven't been able to piece together the steps starting with no C++ solution/project to something I can or is deployed to Azure (similar to C# experience if possible).

Any help/pointers will be appreciated.

Hi Mike,

We don't have any functionality or integration for deploying a service to Azure. I tried clicking the link you specified, http://www.example.com/, I don't see how it is related to the C++ Rest SDK. Most of the library is geared towards connecting to services. We have a library only http_listener that could be used, but will require you to create your own worker role executable to host it.
