Linux vs Windows shared library name

Mar 28, 2014 at 6:33 PM
Hi,

I see that in Windows, the dll name is cpprest120_2_0.dll while in Linux is casablanca.so for 2.0 version. Why different names?

Thanks,

Hi G,

Yes this is something we are aware about, we just haven't been great about fixing it. In a future release we will correct this issue and make sure the Linux shared object naming wise is appropriate and contains the correct version number.

Thanks for reporting.
